Acceptable Use Policy

v1.0.0-draftEffective: 2026-06-01Last updated: 2026-06-01

This is a working draft. The final text must be reviewed by legal counsel before commercial launch.

Quick Summary

TalixTrade is trading-bot software, not a financial service — and it may not be used for illegal or abusive activity. This policy lists what is forbidden (laundering, market manipulation, fraud, hacking, sanctioned-jurisdiction use, and more) and what happens if you break the rules. Trade legitimately, run your own accounts, and report abuse to [email protected].

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") explains how you may and may not use TalixTrade. It applies to everyone who uses our software, website, and related services. It works together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

TalixTrade is software: a bot builder, Smart Trade, signals, backtesting, paper mode, AI tools (AI Builder, Risk Manager, Optimizer, Assistant), and Auto-Hedge. We are not an exchange, bank, broker, custodian, or financial advisor. We never hold your funds, never accept deposits, and never withdraw from your exchange accounts. Your money stays on your own exchange (such as Binance, Bybit, or OKX), and we connect only through an API key with withdrawal permission disabled.

Even though we do not touch your funds, you are still fully responsible for how you use our software and how you trade. This Policy sets the boundaries.

Prohibited Activities

You must not use TalixTrade, or any account, bot, strategy, or API connection, for any of the following:

Financial crime

  • Money laundering or moving the proceeds of crime.
  • Financing terrorism or any violent or extremist activity.
  • Tax evasion, or hiding income, gains, or assets from tax authorities.

Market abuse

  • Market manipulation of any kind, including wash trading (trading with yourself to fake activity) and spoofing (placing orders you intend to cancel to mislead the market).
  • Pump-and-dump schemes — coordinating to inflate a price and then sell into the buyers you misled.
  • Insider trading — trading on material information that is not public.
  • Front-running — acting on knowledge of pending orders to gain an unfair advantage.
  • Creating artificial trading volume, fake liquidity, or misleading price signals.

Account and access abuse

  • Using API keys that you do not own or are not authorized to use, including stolen, leaked, or borrowed keys.
  • Connecting an exchange account that is not yours or that you do not have permission to trade.
  • Sharing your account, password, or session with others; one account is for one person or one authorized entity.
  • Multi-accounting — creating multiple accounts to evade limits, bans, trial restrictions, or detection.
  • Creating fake, impersonating, or fraudulent accounts, or signing up with false information.

Sanctions and restricted regions

  • Using TalixTrade from a fully restricted country or territory. We do not provide service to North Korea (KP), Iran (IR), Syria (SY), Cuba (CU), or occupied territories such as Crimea, in line with applicable sanctions (including OFAC).
  • Using the service if you are a person, or acting for a person, that is subject to sanctions.

Technical abuse

  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract our source code, models, or proprietary logic.
  • Automated scraping, crawling, or harvesting of our content, data, or interfaces beyond what we expressly allow.
  • DDoS attacks, hacking, probing, or trying to break, bypass, or overload our security, rate limits, or infrastructure.
  • Introducing malware, or interfering with other users' use of the service.

This list is not exhaustive. If an activity is illegal where you are, or where you trade, do not do it through TalixTrade.

Bot Behavior Restrictions

Our bots and strategies are powerful, so we ask you to keep them honest:

  • Legitimate strategies only. Bots must pursue real trading goals, not manipulation. Strategies designed to deceive the market or other participants are not allowed.
  • No cross-account coordination. Do not coordinate bots across multiple accounts (yours or others') to move prices, fake demand, or evade exchange limits.
  • No artificial volume. Do not configure bots to generate wash trades, self-matching orders, or fake liquidity.
  • Respect exchange rules. Your bots must comply with the rules and rate limits of the exchange you connect to. Abusive order patterns can get your exchange account restricted — that is between you and your exchange, but it also violates this Policy.

You are responsible for what your bots do, including automated and AI-assisted actions.

Leverage and Regulatory Limits

Some bots can use leverage. Your local regulator may limit how much leverage retail traders can use — for example in the US, Canada, Japan, Singapore, and the UK. We show a warning where relevant, but the actual limit is set and enforced by your exchange, not by us. You are responsible for trading within the rules that apply to you.

Enforcement

If we believe you have violated this Policy, we may take any action we consider appropriate, including:

  • Suspension — temporarily pausing your account, bots, or features while we investigate.
  • Termination — closing your account and ending your access, with or without notice depending on the severity.
  • Stopping bots — disabling or stopping bots or API connections that appear to be involved in prohibited activity.
  • Legal action — pursuing claims to recover losses, stop harm, or protect our users and platform.
  • Cooperation with law enforcement — reporting activity and sharing information with regulators, exchanges, and law enforcement where the law requires it or where we believe it is appropriate.

We may act based on a reasonable suspicion and do not have to prove a violation before acting to protect the platform and other users. Where we can, we will tell you why, but we may stay silent if telling you would interfere with an investigation or break the law.

Enforcement under this Policy does not entitle you to a refund. Billing and refunds are covered in our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.

Reporting Violations

If you see activity that breaks this Policy — abuse of our software, manipulation, stolen keys, fraud, or security problems — please tell us.

  • Email [email protected] with as much detail as you safely can.
  • We treat reports as confidential. We will not share your identity with the person you report except where the law requires it.
  • Please do not test, exploit, or "prove" a security flaw against live accounts; describe it and let us look into it.

Right to Refuse Service

We may decline, limit, or withdraw service from any person at our discretion, including where we believe service would create legal, sanctions, fraud, or security risk, or where required by a sub-processor (such as an exchange or payment provider). We may also refuse service in regions we cannot lawfully support.
