What Auto-Invest is

Auto-Invest is a savings habit, not a trading strategy. It buys a fixed amount of an asset on a schedule — every day, week, or month — no matter what the price is doing. Over time your average entry smooths out the market's noise: you buy some coins high, some low, and the average lands in between.

It is spot-only and, by default, never sells — it accumulates.

Key parameters

  • Amount per buy — the fixed sum spent each interval.
  • Schedule / interval — daily, weekly, or monthly.
  • Optional take-profit — you can set a target at which the accumulated position is sold; leave it off for pure accumulation.

When to use it

  • Long-term accumulation of an asset you believe in (BTC, ETH) "a little at a time," without trying to time the bottom.
  • When you want a disciplined, emotion-free way to build a position over months.

When NOT to use it

  • When you need active exits or short-term trading — Auto-Invest doesn't react to the market, it just keeps buying on schedule.

The pitfall

Expecting it to time the market. It won't — and that's the point. Its edge is discipline and averaging over time, not clever entries. The risk you keep is direction: if the asset trends down for years, averaging in still loses. Auto-Invest manages *emotion and timing*, not the *thesis* — choose the asset carefully.
